The Premier Sale finished with an average of $150,881 and a median of $120,000, both figures increasing from last year’s Sale. The aggregate concluded at $44,962,500 with a clearance rate of 75%.

SELECT YEARLING SALE

The three-day Select Sale concluded on par with last year’s Sale with an average of $46,813 and a median of $35,000. The total aggregate was $18,304,000 and a clearance rate of 75% with 21 fewer horses catalogued from the previous year.


Festival Yearling Sale
FESTIVAL YEARLING SALE

The bumper one-day Festival Sale closed Karaka 2015 with an increased average from the previous year at $14,670, with the median remaining at $10,000. From the 329 yearlings catalogued, the clearance rate was recorded at 71% for a total aggregate of $2,816,650.
