ENTRIES CLOSE for the 2011/2012 Karaka Million Series at 5pm, Monday 8 March 2010
The one million dollar Karaka Million for two-year-olds is New Zealand Bloodstock's incentive race for graduates of its National Yearling Sales Series and New Zealand's richest two-year-old event.
Hosted at the Auckland Racing Club's Ellerslie racecourse at a Twilight Meeting on the eve of the Karaka Premier Sale, the race is run over 1200m and carries Restricted Listed Status. Every horse entered in the Karaka Million is also eligible for the $100,000 Karaka Mile in their three-year-old season.
Entry to the Karaka Million for graduates of the 2010 Premier, Select and Festival Yearling Sales are NOW being taken. For all horses nominated, the Entry Fee of NZ$1,750 + GST must be paid in full by 5pm on 30 April 2010 for the horse to remain eligible.
