In July 2018, New Zealand Bloodstock announced they would be collaborating with DoubleTree by Hilton to open a world-class property on the stunning site at the Karaka Sales Centre.
The hotel opened its doors in March 2022, with the new property debuting 120 guest rooms under the management of DoubleTree by Hilton.
Attending New Zealand Bloodstock’s Sales and inspecting horses will be even easier with this new-build hotel and the accompanying facilities available to be enjoyed by vendors, buyers and thoroughbred enthusiasts.

The hotel features 120 guest rooms including four spacious suites, a restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym, pool and two meeting rooms. The hotel will also have full access to the Karaka Pavilion which encompasses four meeting and event spaces that can accommodate events from 12 to 600 people.
With the Karaka Sales Centre located just 30 minutes south of Auckland city and in the idyllic destination of Karaka, the investment into DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka will raise the world-class Karaka experience to another level.
