31 Supplementary Entries for NZB Weanling & Broodmare Sale

A total of 31 horses have been added to NZB’s National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale at Karaka on 12 & 13 May.

There have been 11 weanlings added to the catalogue at Lots 541 – 551. These horses will be sold at the end of Weanling Session after Lot 284, at the end of the first day (Monday).

The supplementary entries also include three yearlings, two two-year-olds, one unraced stock and three racehorses (Lots 552 – 560). These will be offered at the completion of the Racehorse session (Lot 328), before the commencement of the Broodmare Session.

The Broodmare Session has 11 supplementary entries (Lots 561 – 571) that will go under the hammer at the end of the second day of selling, after Lot 540 of the main catalogue.

Highlights of the Supplementary entries include:

• Lot 549 – A weanling by Shocking who is a half-sister to Australian stakes performers Capital Commander (Commands) and Little Favours (Falvelon).
• Lot 553 – A yearling half-sister to Saturday’s Listed Champagne Stakes winner Elusive Catch (Elusive City).
• Lot 556 – A yearling half-sister to Australian two-year-old stakes winner Eire Hostess (O’Reilly), winner of the Listed Talindert Stakes.
• Lot 564 – The broodmare Kidwelly (Dylan Thomas) who was placed in the Group 2 Royal Stakes last season.
• Lot 568 – The broodmare Chicken Little (Telesto), dam of stakes performers Capital Commander (Commands) and Little Favours (Falvelon). She is in foal to Shocking.

With the addition of the 31 supplementary entries New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale has a catalogue of 571 horses to be sold at Karaka on Monday 12 & Tuesday 13 May at Karaka.
