The Premier, Select & Festival Sales have a combined 1364 yearlings entered across six days of selling, starting on Monday 26 January at Karaka.

The PREMIER SALE is the showcase of the week, combining some of the best pedigrees from around the world into its 443 horses entered for sale from 11am on Monday 25 & Tuesday 26 January.

The SELECT SALE produced seven Group 1 winners last season alone and has 592 horses catalogued for sale in 2015, selling from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 January.

The FESTIVAL SALE will once again be a bumper one-day session following last year’s success, with 329 horses entered for sale on Sunday 1 February.

Continuing to deliver results, the National Yearling Sales Series produced 15 Group 1 winners last season, the most of any Australasian auction house for the second consecutive year.

These 15 Group 1 winners are part of the bigger picture which has seen Karaka provide 35% of Group 1 yearling graduates in the past three seasons, from only 21% of the auctioned yearling crop – the best record in Australasia.

NZB’s Premier Sale is the showpiece of Karaka 2015 with the international quality catalogue featuring relations to stars of racetracks across the world. The depth of the Premier Sale is evident, with 90 progeny of stakes winners and 114 siblings to stakes winners.
