Mid Week Mercedes Super Bonus At Te Aroha

Tomorrow's Racing Te Aroha meeting sees another Mercedes Super Bonus up for grabs in the Java Lodge Occidental Tourist 1100 Maiden 2YO. The field of fourteen runners has four eligible horses competing for the $10,000 bonus.

Danamora (NZ) (Danske x Morar) has had five previous starts, in which she has had two minor placings and two fourths. The filly was sold at the 2003 New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Sale by Bloomsbury Stud for $85,000. Paul O'Sullivan purchased and now trains the filly.

Marzeri (NZ) (Marju x Miss Rory), from the Munro stable, will be having her first start. She had one trial earlier in the year where she finished second. The filly was purchased at the 2003 Select Fillies Sale by Halo Bloodstock from Te Mania Thoroughbreds for $55,000.

The Colin Jillings & Richard Yuill-trained Stella Diva (NZ) (Faltaat x Elabama Light) is also having her first start. Yuill purchased the filly at the 2003 Select Fillies Sale for $50,000 from Darley Park.

Finally, Needle Class (NZ) (Pins x Henry's Daughter) rounds out the eligible runners. The Mike Moroney / Andrew Scott-trained filly was purchased by Paul Moroney at the 2003 Select Fillies Sales for $46,000 from Lyndhurst Farm. She has had one start at Paeroa where she finished ninth behind Darcybee.

The next Mercedes Super Bonus will be at Racing Tauranga's meeting on 26 June.
