New Auction Sales to be Launched

New Zealand Bloodstock has announced its plans to conduct four extra auction sales a year.

In response to many owners and breeders expressing interest in having more opportunities to buy and sell mixed bloodstock throughout the year, New Zealand Bloodstock plans to conduct four low-cost mixed bloodstock sales at Karaka in November, March, June and September. The first of the new sales will be held on 26th November this year.

New Zealand Bloodstock's Marketing & PR Manager Petrea Vela commented,
"I understand that for some time there has been demand for more mixed bloodstock sale opportunities throughout the year. Our plan at this stage is to trial the idea on 26th November and test the water. If there is genuine demand for sales of this nature then we expect that they will become a regular feature on our calendar."

The entry fee will be $125 plus GST which includes stabling making the sales an economical alternative to putting lesser value stock through the existing NZB sales. There will be no entry forms mailed out but they will be available on request from New Zealand Bloodstock, and will be able to be downloaded from the website in due course. Entries for the sale will be accepted right up to sale day, and catalogues will be made available on the day. Horses will be permitted to arrive on site on the day of the sale. New Zealand Bloodstock's normal commission rates will apply.
