Ready to Run Catalogue Hot Off the Press

4 October 2004

The New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run catalogues are hot off the press and a complete online version can now be viewed on New Zealand Bloodstock's website at www.nzb.co.nz. New Zealand Bloodstock's mail out has also started this week.

Petrea Vela, the company's Marketing & Public Relations Manager, commented, "We have some very exciting horses catalogued, and our inspection teams are extremely positive about the quality of the entrants this year. With 359 lots catalogued - over a hundred more than last year - this year's sale promises some fantastic buying opportunities."

Today is the deadline for entries for the Breeze Ups which will be conducted on the 11 & 12 October at Te Rapa. The Breeze Ups are mandatory for Select Session horses and, while optional for those in the General Session, vendors are strongly encouraged to breeze up General Session horses also.

With buyers now relying substantially on video and computer displays of the Breeze Up clips to help make their purchase decisions, New Zealand Bloodstock will again make sure that footage of all breeze up horses is made available to buyers as soon as possible after the Breeze Ups. This is an extremely valuable tool for all prospective buyers. The highly successful "Video On Demand" facility, where buyers can watch breeze up clips on a computer screen at the touch of a button, will be available again this year.
