Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale Catalogue Out Now

The catalogue for New Zealand Bloodstock’s Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale can be viewed online now.
This year’s catalogue features 76 horses. There are 51 broodmares, one weanling, three yearlings, two two-year-olds, two unraced horses and 17 racehorses.
There is a wide range of sires represented in the catalogue. It features the progeny of 56 sires including big names such as Tavistock, Savabeel, Darci Brahma, Fastnet Rock, Galileo, High Chaparral, O’Reilly and Redoute’s Choice.
Others likely to be prominent include Showcasing, Thorn Park, Swiss Ace, Volksraad, Rock of Gibraltar, Mastercraftsman, Pins, Per Incanto, Keeper and Cape Blanco.
Another 18 sires are represented as the covering sires of broodmares, including Makfi, Tavistock, Sacred Falls and Burgundy.
The catalogue includes the stakes winners Jazzella and Fascination Street and stakes-placed mares Thwayya and She’s Slinky.
Prior to the commencement of the Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale is the annual Karaka Stallion Parade, commencing at 10.30am, which was well-received last year with 8 stallions visiting Karaka from some of New Zealand’s leading studs.
