NZB Breeze Ups Start Monday

Breeze Ups for New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale of Two-Year-Olds are all set to be held next Monday 15 & Tuesday 16 October at Te Rapa Racecourse from 10am each day, and are open to the public.

Breeze Up schedules for the two-day event, and vendor stabling information, is now available.

The Breeze Ups will consist of 197 heats with catalogued two-year-olds breezing up in pairs or as individuals at the discretion of the vendor. Every horse will be filmed and timed along the final 200 metres of the home straight.

Breeze Ups will be held on the course proper with Heats 1 to 101 held on Monday and Heats 102 to 197 held on Tuesday. A track reading will be taken on Monday and Tuesday mornings and provided on each Breeze Up clip.

The Breeze Ups will be conducted in heat order – not lot order – and each horse will wear a saddlecloth carrying its Lot number to help identify it.

DVD copies of all Breeze Up videos will be available from Tuesday 23 October. Breeze Up clips will also be available for viewing at www.nzb.co.nz or on the free iPad application.

The Breeze Ups will also be broadcast on Trackside (channel 36). Set your recorder to capture the complete set of clips in full broadcast quality at the following times:

• 24 October – 4am
• 25 October – 4.30am
• 26 October – 4am
• 28 October - 2am
