NZB Displays Significant Sponsorship Commitment

2 May 2005

With a total of nine races sponsored over the past six weeks, New Zealand Bloodstock's extensive race sponsorship drive continued over the weekend.

New Zealand Bloodstock Marketing & PR Manager commented, "NZB is very proud of the considerable investment it has made into its sponsorship initiatives this season.

In addition to our core sponsorships, we have received enormous support from our Underwriters in the UK which has permitted New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance to be particularly active in its sponsorships this season, and New Zealand Bloodstock Airfreight has also sponsored several races in its own right. Far from being just involved in trading horses, we are very committed to supporting New Zealand racing and are happy to have been able to lend the level of sponsorship that we have this season."

The New Zealand Bloodstock Southern Filly of the Year Series concluded at the weekend with a win by Felenic (Cape Cross) in the New Zealand Bloodstock Warstep Stakes.  The final Series winner was Royal Miss (Volksraad) with 11 points.  Click here for more details.
